Trade Marketing Supervisor
Roles and responsibility
- Develop and implement optimal trade marketing/channel strategy (price, placement, and promotion) based on consumer, shopper, and channel insights, to achieve sales target & category growth and market share within brand guidelines
- Develop promotion strategy to drive offtake, including Return on Investment (ROI) planning for pre-promo and review for post executed promotion in effort to drive continuous improvement for future programming.
- Building Go to Market strategy to provide value for customer and achieve competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with shopper to develop and communicate sales and execution channel standard (look of success) of each program
- Work closely with marketing/sales (commercial team) to review the effectiveness of trade marketing plan and activities.
- Work with distributor team for excellent execution of trade marketing strategy, BTL brand plans and activation
- Deliver sales target while managing budget for efficient BTL performance and continuously improve to optimize profitability
- Leading the translation and execution of the marketing strategy into impactful retailer program, respecting and tracking budget and commercial target. Also, implementing and monitoring/improving processes to link all marketing activities with the activities of sales team.
- Ensure smooth new product launch and review product performance with commercial team
- Bridging all related parties (demand& supply, commercial, operation) to ensure product availability, performance and brand presence in market, while manage price stability and promo guideline with sales/marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in any subject (Business management, engineering, sciences)
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in trade marketing/channel development, or similar role, within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Excellent data analysis skill and love crunching number
- Possess good business acumen, financial projection and cost control capability
- Time and project management skills
- Adept personality and able to work with multiple stakeholder
